Energy and Corporate Social Responsibility Manager

You will be working with clients who require waste procurement services and experience of waste management technologies, procurement and waste consultancy services.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • A broad understanding of energy management, particularly within commercial buildings
  • Expertise in the collection and interpretation of energy consumption data
  • Ability to work closely with specialist service providers in energy management
  • Preparation and implementation of energy management plans
  • Ability to draw together energy management strategies with planned and reactive maintenance programmes in order to maximise value
  • To undertake viability assessments for capital replacement programmes
  • Project management skills relevant to the implementation of energy management initiatives
  • To contribute to influencing end–user behaviour with respect to raising awareness of benefits of energy conservation and the practical steps building occupants should be taking.
  • Reporting on energy management performance to the client and supporting the client’s external reporting requirements on energy use / climate change.
  • General understanding of commercial issues pertinent to energy management
Core Skills:
  • Able to interface with H&S specialists in order to develop and implement H&S management plans
  • A general understanding of waste management and its regulation, and the ability to oversee the implementation of waste management strategies
  • Able to engage with a wide range of stakeholders within the group, the supply chain, and potentially, third parties on CSR issues.
  • To support the group in pursuing corporate citizenship initiatives, e.g. visits from third parties, sponsorships, volunteering etc
