Renewable Energy Specialist

The following is a basic summary of the core skills we seek in Renewable Energy candidates:

Responsibilities include project delivery on a wide range of renewable energy projects. Experience required:

First Degree BSc/BEng Engineering, Geography, Environmental

Second Degree MSc Renewable Energy preferred (or significant relevant experience)

Core Skills

• A broad range of renewable energy-related project experience covering site selection, project feasibility and outline site design; experience of developing and maintaining GIS services (essential).
• Experience of environmental assessment of wind farms and/or wind farm construction advantageous.
• You will need to be computer literate with experience of industry standard energy appraisal and CAD and/or GIS software packages.
• Typically it is expected that the successful candidate to have around 2-3 years relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of wind analysis tools an advantage.
• You must be well organised, team worker, customer focused, flexible, numerate, self motivated, creative problem solver.
